Bomond Vodka was awarded a Gold Medal with 92 points, and a rating of Exceptional, by the International Review of Spirits (Tastings) in 2018.

Tastings, powered by the Beverage Testing Institute, was founded in 1981 with the goal of producing fair, impartial wine reviews for consumers. This philosophy still holds true today and has since expanded to include beer and spirits. Their panelists are retailers, restauranteurs, writers, and trade buyers and sellers–all rigorously screened, audited, and trained in their proprietary blind tasting methodology. They have a deep commitment to impartiality, open-mindedness, and fairness. All of their tastings, ratings, and evaluations are done using their proprietary blind tasting methodology and custom-built software. To ensure consistency and accuracy, Tastings uses a dedicated tasting lab located in their offices in Chicago. The room is specially designed to minimize external factors and maximize our panelists' concentration.

Bomond was awarded a Silver Medal in the 2017 and 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC).
